What is Neverwinter? In the MMORPG Neverwinter you experience classic D&D adventures in the world of the Forgotten Realms. The city of Neverwinter is threatened by many dangers, and you are to save the population.
You are not only in the city, but also travel to other regions like the chilly Icewind Dale, the jungle of Chult ruled by dinosaurs, deep underworlds, and even explore the horror dimension of Ravenloft.
During your adventures, you and your friends experience many quests and fight dangerous monsters. PvP is possible in special areas. Neverwinter is continuously expanded with so-called modules. The Undermountain module even revamped much of the game.
How many players does Neverwinter have on Steam: In the last 30 days, an average of 1,712 players played. At peak times, it was 14,822 simultaneously.
This is what players think: The Undermountain expansion has caused Neverwinter to not be as popular as it was a year ago. Nevertheless, many still remain loyal to the game.
- dragonmaster420692003 writes on Steam: “Good game. Lots to do. Exciting gameplay and many combat styles to choose from. Fun for all who enjoy fantasy gameplay.”
- YoM3N, however, thinks: “Undermountain came out, and after all the criticism, the flames, the feedback, everybody thought they understood and would do better… Module 17 (Uprising) comes out, and the devs came up with the glorious idea to just shred the healers, not to properly adjust the classes. The scaling is even worse than before.”
