Modern technology in Hogwarts?
Just as important as the image in a film is the sound. It brings the world to life audibly, and we hear what the characters have to say. However, in the third part, a mistake was made by the creators: Harry and Hermione are visibly wearing mics on their bodies.
If you look closely near the end of the film, you can see a slight bulge on their back where the sound equipment is attached. This is especially evident in the scene where they make a time travel and sneak up on Hagrid’s hut to eavesdrop on their past selves.
How can the mistake happen? Equipping actors with microphones to capture their dialogue better is quite normal. In this case, it was not particularly well done to hide the equipment under the fabric layers. Perhaps the sound department simply did not expect that the two would be seen from behind in the finished film.
In the editing process, the mistake went unnoticed since there were possibilities to use visual effects to retouch the technology.
