Glasses that have no lenses
Several important characters in the films wear glasses, but not always do the glasses have lenses. This is particularly evident in a scene in the second part. Harry is in Dumbledore’s office and is listening to what the headmaster has to say.
During this, the camera shows several close-ups of their faces. If you look closely, it becomes clear that there are no lenses in the glasses. How Harry and Dumbledore are supposed to see with them is a big mystery.
How can the mistake happen? It was actually relatively normal for the lenses to be removed from Harry’s glasses. This was to prevent reflections of the film crew or certain light sources. Often the lenses were digitally reinserted only in post-production. In some cases, this was likely forgotten, or the filmmakers thought it wouldn’t be noticed if they were missing.
