The best secondary weapons in Season 1 2021
Secondary weapons are primarily intended to support your setup. They are only conditionally useful as a main weapon.
Pistol: J358
The J358, also known as .357 Magnum, is a revolver with 6 shots and high penetrating power. The pistol is mainly used as a last resort when your primary weapon is empty and you have an opponent right in front of you. Instead of reloading, a switch is usually faster.
The J358 also has high stopping power. Therefore, you can also use it when playing with your team. If you hit an opponent, you can slow him down enough for a teammate to get the kill.
Additionally, it is strong for the first shot at slightly longer distances, especially when playing with submachine guns or shotguns. Fire a shot at distant enemies to slow them down and then switch. Due to the strong recoil, it is not advisable to follow up with multiple shots.
Launcher: FHJ-18
The rocket launcher FHJ-18 is mainly intended to take out entrenched enemies. With a precise shot through a window or around a corner, you can kill enemies in a small radius.
The advantage of the launcher over grenades is that the rocket detonates immediately and gives enemies no opportunity to react. Also, its range is significantly higher than that of a throw.
However, since you must reload for a long time after every shot, the FHJ-18 is only suitable for attacking enemies from a great distance or for a shot before a storm attack in order to initiate it.
The best weapon for Battle Royale
Generally, most of the weapons mentioned above can also be used in Battle Royale. Especially the Chopper, the ASM10, and the Locus are good choices to take down enemies.
However, the AK-47 is also a good fit for Battle Royale. It benefits from the versatility that all assault rifles have, but offers significantly higher mobility.
This is particularly important when you need to cover distances across open fields or if you want to rush an enemy quickly. Damage and fire rate are almost identical to the DR-H and ASM10; only the precision of the AK-47 is lower, so you should use it more at shorter ranges.
