Call of Duty: Mobile offers dozens of weapons to choose from – so many that you can quickly lose track. MeinMMO has looked at the best weapons that you can play in the current Season 1 2021 and listed them in detail for you.
What kind of weapons are these? For the list, we have looked at the best weapons in each category that you can use in the new Season 1 in 2021. For some categories, you will find several weapons that either have different strengths or are almost equally strong.
The majority of the weapons apply to the multiplayer of CoD Mobile. At the end of the list, you will also find a tip for the Battle Royale.
This is how we selected: The list was created based on impressions from various experts like iFerg, one of the best CoD Mobile players in the world. Changes to the balance with the latest update were also taken into account.

- DR-H (assault rifle) replaces Man-O-War
- QXR (SMG) replaces Fennec
The best assault rifles in Season 1 2021
Assault rifles are versatile weapons that can be adapted for many situations with the right attachments in the Gunsmith feature of CoD Mobile. Normally, they are considered a strong option for fights at medium and long distances, especially if you prefer fully automatic weapons.
DR-H
What kind of weapon is this? The DR-H is a versatile assault rifle that, along with the Man-O-War (“Battleship”) and ASM10, leads the list of the best weapons. In the current Season 1, it has narrowly dethroned the Man-O-War.
What makes it so good? The assault rifle is extremely versatile and has a high damage per second. Particularly at medium and long distances, it can kill with just a few shots. It only takes between three and four bullets to take down an opponent. This makes it strong in many game modes, both offensively and defensively.
Its high rate of fire means its time-to-kill (“TTK”) is relatively low, giving you an advantage over many other weapons. The biggest disadvantage is its relatively small magazine with only 20 rounds.
ASM10
What kind of weapon is this? Similar to the DR-H, the ASM10 is a versatile rifle that can be used in many situations.
What makes it so good? In fact, it has nearly identical stats and can be used and played in the same way. The ASM10 has the same advantages and disadvantages as the DR-H. Compared to this, the ASM 10 offers:
- higher damage and accuracy
- a larger magazine
- lower rate of fire and mobility
- stronger recoil
- about the same range
The differences are barely noticeable, with the ASM10 being a bit better for beginners. The slightly better DR-H requires more experience to maximize its strength with the right attachments. With the larger magazine, the ASM10 also tends to forgive mistakes.
In other CoD titles, you might know the ASM10 by the name AN-94, which is quite popular in Modern Warfare.
The best submachine guns in Season 1 2021
Submachine guns are more mobile compared to assault rifles, but less precise. You move faster with them and usually have a higher rate of fire, but you hit less at range. They are therefore more suited for close combat or medium range.
QXR
What kind of weapon is this? The QXR is the new strongest submachine gun (SMG) and has replaced the Fennec from our list on MeinMMO. It is also one of the strongest weapons in the game outside of its category. From other CoD titles and shooters, you might know it as the MP7, which has already been one of the best submachine guns in CoD Warzone.
What makes it so good? The submachine gun can be modified for all kinds of situations with various attachments. It offers possibilities for:
- high mobility
- high accuracy at medium to long distances
- minimal recoil (“Laser” build)
- stealth attacks with suppressors
Its rate of fire is slightly slower than that of other SMGs, but its range as well as its precision and handling are better. It ranks somewhere between assault rifles and submachine guns.
The great strength of the QXR is that it can quickly take down enemies in hip fire and is also reliable for killing at longer distances when aiming down sights. It is less suited for pure “Run&Gun” gameplay compared to other SMGs.
QQ9
What kind of weapon is this? The QQ9 is likely known to many fans of Call of Duty and the general public as the “MP5”. The MP5 is a popular submachine gun from the German manufacturer Heckler & Koch and has long been considered one of the best weapons in Call of Duty overall. In the latest CoD Cold War, it helped me dominate in the beta.
What makes it so good? In contrast to the Fennec, the QQ9 has a lower rate of fire, but is more accurate and offers higher range. It is easier to control and its damage is a little higher, while it requires the same number of shots for a kill.
While its TTK is slightly lower than that of the Fennec, the QQ9 can also be used at greater distances. In this respect, it can even compete with some assault rifles, giving it more versatility.
The best LMGs in Season 1 2021
Light machine guns (LMGs) are the heaviest automatic weapons in the game. They primarily boast a large magazine, high damage, and a stable rate of fire, but are also less accurate. Currently, there is a favorite that has risen to the top in Season 1 2021.
Chopper
What kind of weapon is this? The Chopper may be familiar to some veterans as the “Chain SAW”. The LMG has been in the game since Season 7 and has since been considered a strong option. Now it has risen to the top.
What makes it so good? The Chopper plays like an assault rifle with a significantly larger magazine and slightly lower precision. The combination of its properties makes the Chopper so strong:
- 100 rounds in the magazine
- kills in 3-4 shots
- higher rate of fire than the strongest assault rifles
- good control
Although it is a heavy weapon, you are still quite mobile with the Chopper. With the large magazine, you can easily take out multiple opponents in succession. This makes it one of the best weapons, especially when attacking on many maps and in action-packed game modes like deathmatch.
