Destiny 2 has offered quite a bit of lore since Forsaken. MyNameisByf has now revealed his ten favorite stories from the Destiny universe in an article from Forbes, where he is considered a lore expert for Destiny.
What is it about? MyNameisByf is known to most Destiny players as one of the great lore experts. On his YouTube channel, he has been dealing with the story of the shooter universe since the days of Destiny 1. Byf regularly works on story scraps and hidden lore for his followers.
In collaboration with Forbes, Byf has now compiled his ten favorite stories from the Destiny universe. The stories are hidden in the texts of Destiny.
1. Marasenna: The Story of the Awoken
In the lore book Marasenna, the story of the birth of the Awoken is told in Destiny 2. Queen Mara Sov plays the main role and travels during the Golden Age together with her brother Uldren, who at that time was still called Uldwyn, and her mother on a colony ship.
However, during the journey, darkness arrives and changes the travelers forever.

2. The Books of Sorrow: The Story of the Hive
If you have always wanted to know more about Oryx and his family, you should read The Books of Sorrow. The lore describes how the three siblings Aurash (later Oryx), Sathona (later Savathûn), and Xi Ro (later Xivu Arath) traveled to the center of their home planet Fundament and met the Worm Gods Akka, Eir, Ur, Xol, and Yul.

3. The Ishtar Collective
This piece of lore is not a long story, but rather small pieces about what the research team has discovered about the Vex and the Black Garden. It also tells how the future war cult was founded.

4. The Dark Prince: The Story of Uldren Sov
Uldren Sov plays a larger role in the shooter since Destiny 2: Forsaken. His lore book, which can be found in Destiny 2, recounts the events from the discovery of the Black Garden before the story of Destiny 1 to his imprisonment in the Prison of Elders before Forsaken.

5. The Great Ahamkara Hunt
The Ahamkara also received more attention with Riven in Destiny 2: Forsaken. Instead of telling in lore books how the Guardians hunted these fantastic beings in ancient times, the story is narrated through the raid gear Last Wish.
Among other things, it is also told how Mara Sov wished for a visit from Lord Shaxx.

6. The Story of Calus
Why does Calus fly through space with the fish-like Leviathan and why is the Emperor not as hostile towards the Guardians as Ghaul? Guardians can read why Calus admires our Guardians on the weapon Zenith of your kind.
7. The Story of the Drifter
The story of the Drifter, the lord of Gambit, will surely be continued with the upcoming Season of the Drifter. Until then, Guardians can collect the Old Apocalypse gear from the PvEvP mode.
The lore tells of the adventures of the Drifter, who and his team encountered creatures that could take a Guardian’s light just by their presence.
8. The Story of Saint-14
One of the greatest Titans of all time, who bequeathed us the shotgun Perfect Paradox, is Saint-14. Is he now dead or not? The story of the weapon is immensely paradoxical, yet the story of Saint-14, who is referred to in German as the 14th Holy, is more than heroic.

9. The Glass Chamber
The first raid from Destiny 1 is not only one of the favorite raids of many Destiny veterans but also has a great story to offer. Still, not all mysteries surrounding the famous chamber have been solved. It is suspected that there is still a chest hidden in its winding halls with particularly great loot.

10. Cayde-6 and the Darkness
Few players are likely to know about this story, as it is neither in the current lore nor in the old Grimoire cards from Destiny 1. The story of Cayde-6’s memories of the darkness could only be read in the Collector’s Edition of The Taken King.
