Ark: Survival Evolved

In Ark: Survival Evolved, you start on a mysterious island. As a man or woman, you begin your adventure hungry and cold on the island Ark. In this survival game, you must use your skills to kill prehistoric creatures. Alternatively, you can also tame dinosaurs and ride them. Tamed animals need to be fed regularly, however. Once you have tamed a dino, you can give it commands that it follows – if it is obedient.
Many items you can craft in the game need to be unlocked first. When reaching a new level, you earn points that you can invest in various research. In the first levels, the researched items are primitive. Once you reach higher levels, the items become more modern, and you can craft firearms, for example.
Special items can be obtained from ultimate life forms that are so powerful that they can only be defeated by the most experienced players and their dinos. These god-like creatures are considered end-game goals and are summoned by sacrifices.
In Ark: Survival Evolved, there are PvP and PvE servers. As with other survival PvP servers, you can attack and kill other players, destroy their buildings, and steal their loot. On PvE servers, you cannot attack other players and their constructions.
If your character dies, there are two options to continue playing:
- You continue with the same character. You can choose a spot on the map to respawn or wake up in a pre-built bed. You lose your loot but maintain your level and learned skills.
- You create a new character and start the game over.
To avoid losing your loot, you have ten minutes after death to collect a backpack. This backpack appears at the location where you died. If you do not manage to pick up your loot within ten minutes, the backpack disappears.
