Life is Feudal: MMO
The medieval survival game “Life is Feudal: Your Own” has been available on the Steam shop since 2015. In 2018, the MMO mode started with dedicated servers in early access, giving sufficient reason for a recommendation.
Your adventure starts as a farmer in the large sandbox survival world of Life is Feudal, which is constantly evolving. Decide for yourself which path you will take. If you envision a future as a blacksmith in this medieval world, you start with basics like mining iron. However, you only have a limited number of skill points, so you cannot master all skills at the same time.
There is a guild system that allows groups of players to claim land on the vast 21 x 21 kilometer map. There, you have space for large construction projects that can take a lot of time. To obtain the right resources, you are dependent on the weather. It is dynamic, has day and night cycles, and even changes through the four seasons.
Conflicts with other kingdoms on the server can be resolved through diplomacy. If the pen is too weak, you reach for the sword. The combat system is innovative and must be used wisely. Some weapons deal more damage with overhead attacks than others.
Life is Feudal: MMO is not a typical survival game. Unlike PUBG or Fortnite: Battle Royale, you don’t just jump into the game, play a round, and go back out again. Here, long-term motivation is required. The game attempts to serve as a mostly realistic survival simulation and sets itself apart from other games in this genre with this character. Therefore, Life is Feudal is special and not “for everyone”.
