Many of you might have expected Arcane to be in first place, but another series was ranked a little better by viewers. Nevertheless, Arcane is a true success story.
The series takes place in the universe of League of Legends and shows Piltover, a city divided into two factions. At first, we mainly follow the orphans Vi and Jinx on their excursions and adventures.
The series has received two seasons so far, which stand out due to their animation style – a mix of 3D and 2D. Especially the first season overwhelmed viewers, even those who had previously had nothing to do with LoL.
In addition to the animations, primarily the characters receive a lot of love. In figures, Netflix also counts a significant success with Arcane: Season 1 spent 9 weeks in the top 10, and Season 2 still 6 weeks. The series totals over 314 million watched hours by the end of 2025 (via whats-on-netflix.com).
