Place 7 Fritz
- Participation: Seasons 1, 2, and 3
- Rank: Winner of season 1, 3rd place in season 2, eliminated on day 3 in season 3
The founder of “7 vs. Wild” demonstrated through his participations what viewers actually expect from a survival show: adventure, bushcraft, and action. Even if one or the other challenge led to rule discussions, there was almost nothing that Meinecke didn’t try.
However, in the third season, he lacked a bit of passion, which impacted his performance and that of his teammate from the very beginning, independent of the search for water. Despite a large repertoire of skills, he couldn’t really fight anymore before he left the show.
Place 6 Otto
- Participation: Season 2
- Rank: Winner of season 2
Ottogerd “Bulletproof” Karasch, better known as Otto, showcased in season 2 what good prior knowledge can really do for someone in real life. He also performed well in the challenges and narrowly secured 1st place in his season ahead of Joris.
However, in shelter building, Otto did not exactly shine. His poor shelter was hit by a wave at night, forcing the former parachutist to relocate in the middle of the night. Shortly thereafter, his former sleeping spot was completely washed away.
Place 5 Knossi
- Participation: Seasons 2 and 3
- Rank: Winner of season 3, 4th place in season 2
The content creator Jens “Knossi” Knossalla, who dealt with sea animals even before his time on 7 vs. Wild, is probably the quintessential surprise contestant. During the time before the start of season 2 leading up to the airing, hardly anyone gave him a chance. Then he showed everyone how much perseverance he really has.
After surviving the pirates in the second season, he also joined team partner Sascha Huber in season 3, which he even won. He has thus survived more days on 7 vs. Wild than founder Fritz Meinecke and has now become the community favorite.
Place 4 Chris
- Participation: Season 1
- Rank: 2nd place
Christian “RELOADIAK” Nosty, better known as Chris, is one of the forgotten participants of 7 vs. Wild. As the second-place finisher in season 1 of the show, he demonstrated that survival poses no problem for him.
His built shelter and the challenges prove that he is a gifted bushcrafter. His biggest problem was probably hunger, which plagued him since day two in the series. The blueberries could only somewhat quell his appetite.
