Before the 4th season of 7 vs. Wild starts, let’s take a look back at all the past contestants. MeinMMO author Cedric lists who he believes were the top 10 contestants of 7 vs. Wild from all seasons.
7 vs. Wild has evolved over the years, and the participants have also become increasingly diverse. While in the beginning it was only friends of founder Fritz Meinecke, participants from all sorts of backgrounds have taken part since then.
Many contestants who were criticized before the airing of a season surprised the viewers with their skills. Our “7 vs. Wild” expert Cedric has created a ranking of the 10 best contestants from 7 vs. Wild, which mainly focuses on their performance in the show and is, of course, meant to be taken with a wink.
Did he make it into the top 10? Jens “Knossi” Knossalla has already participated in 7 vs. Wild twice:
Place 10 Papaplatte
- Participation: Season 3
- Rank: Winner of the season
Kevin “Papaplatte” Teller is a surprising winner of the 3rd season of 7 vs. Wild, just like his teammate Reeze. His perseverance and mental fitness helped the content creator to win the season.
The skills he learned in preparation he tried to implement as best as possible, and he not only motivated his teammate to win but also to not just lie around in the shelter all the time.
Place 9 Joris
- Participation: Season 2 via wildcard
- Rank: 2nd place
Joris “joris_rdy” entered the format through the wildcard for viewers. He promised in advance to explain a lot to viewers, and he did so in his total of over 21 hours of footage. Almost uncut, you can find this in the uncut format of the series on YouTube, in case his explanations in the show were not enough for you.
Even though he had difficulties starting a fire, he completed the tasks without any problems. He performed so well that he ended up in 2nd place ahead of founder Fritz Meinecke. In the wilderness itself, he seemed to have little trouble. His mental state was probably his biggest opponent in 7 vs. Wild.
Place 8 Survival Mattin
- Participation: Seasons 1 and 3
- Rank: 2nd place in season 1, eliminated on day 3 in season 3
Martin “Survival Mattin” Rudloff has the word Survival right in his name. In season 1 he simply sat around for 7 days and didn’t even attempt many of the tasks. Nonetheless, he successfully secured 2nd place and survived the 7 days, albeit not without mental and health issues.
In season 3, his performance alongside Fritz Meinecke was rather poor. Even before the search for water, health issues hit him hard, and when the water was missing, he was not eager to move on to find new water.
