Privacy is a very important term in the negative reviews. Because for some players, the anti-cheat software of Ring of Elysium collects too much data. User Theleo writes: “The sheer amount of data they collect from your system is a disgusting violation of user privacy.”
That asking for hardware information and operating system, as well as account information and network, would be okay. “But then it gets a bit strange,” the user continues. The game wants to know exact information about the player’s antivirus system. Additionally, it looks for information about browser plugins and known cheat programs on the computers.
It then goes even deeper, and even more data is supposed to be checked – players feel this is going too far. They say: Ring of Elysium snoops too much into my data. I don’t want that.
Additionally, it is often said that you encounter cheaters who play with aimbot or wallhack, according to the reviews.
What is controversial?
Opinions are divided on weapon handling. Some claim it is much better than PUBG. There is less bullet drop and it is easier to hit opponents.
Others say this is exactly why it would be bad. It doesn’t feel realistic with weapons, PUBG handled this better.
