The Showdown series of Red Dead Online is expanding! With “Spoils of War,” a new multiplayer mode is being added to the online component of Red Dead Redemption 2. We will tell you what it’s about.

The new game mode will please many players because it offers epic battles along with many other players. Skill and good teamwork are important.
This is Spoils of War
How does the mode work? In this mode, you have to start from your hideouts.
This way, you and your teammates will loot the enemy’s hideout and bring the loot back to your own hideout. The one who has stolen the most at the end wins.
How big are the matches? The mode is designed for 2-16 players. You can start Spoils of War even with just one friend.
This means for you: The mode offers you a new gaming experience. You have to protect your own hideout while also playing offensively and robbing the enemies. Good communication within the team is important.
How can I play? There are three ways to start the game mode:
- Go to the “Featured Series” field in the beta’s start menu
- Click on “Quick Join” in the player menu
- Start the mode via the marker “Featured Series” on the map
This is how the mode is celebrated: To make it even more worthwhile to play the mode, there are 20% more XP in all Showdown modes this week.
