What is the Wick mode about? From May 16 to 21, 2019, you can play a special event called “Wick’s Bounty” in Fortnite. The goal is to be the first team to collect 500 coins, which you earn by eliminating other players.
In addition, you will also receive the coins of your victim. Everyone starts with weapons and has two respawns. Particularly successful players are displayed on the map and are thus considered particularly good loot.
How well is the new mode Wick’s Bounty received
This is what fans say: Many Fortnite players are enjoying the new mode. Wick’s Bounty promises fun and fast-paced action. Since you always get the coins from your victims, even beginners and casual players can quickly achieve success.

Additionally, players like the fact that in the Wick mode, every skin wears a suit, but the heads of the original skins are still visible. This way, even silly skins like Fishsticks achieve fame as killers.
What bothers some players about Wick
However, there are some players who resent Epic for allowing a real Wick to be purchased now. After all, there was the pseudo-Wick “Grim Reaper” exclusively in Season 3, and some veterans now feel cheated.

“This John Wick in the shop is a big “no” to anyone who believed in the game during Season 3. Thank you, Epic Games, you won’t be getting any money from me anymore!”
This is the criticism of the Wick mode: Skins are not the only issue; some players on Reddit have their problems with the new mode. You would most likely win if you did nothing for most of the time and then sneakily eliminated the last players at the end. One player summarizes it as follows:
“Players should not be punished for being good at the game!”
