Here’s the situation with GTA 6: Officially, there is actually no information about GTA 6 yet. Nevertheless, there are constantly supposed leaks and data about the game. For years, a date has been mentioned for when GTA 6 will be announced. However, nothing has been officially confirmed, and there has never been an announcement for the game.
A new theory has emerged claiming that GTA 6 will be announced during this year’s Super Bowl. Fans have collected several pieces of evidence for this.

What is claimed: On reddit, the user ItsTreDay speaks up. He himself writes that Rockstar does not need the Super Bowl platform to announce GTA 6, yet he said that a teaser this year is certainly conceivable.
He mentioned the following reasons for the announcement:
- The Super Bowl is taking place in Tampa, Florida – a leak has claimed in the past that GTA 6 will also take place in Florida
- Last year, the Super Bowl used a font in its advertising that resembles the logo of GTA Vice City – something similar could happen this year
- During the halftime show of the Super Bowl, The Weeknd is performing – for a brief moment in his music video for Blinding Lights, there was a sign reading “GTA 6 Trailer” – the musician apparently also has a connection to GTA 6
What is the validity of these speculations? These are clearly just speculations and wishes from the reddit user. Of course, these are all pieces of evidence that would fit, yet they are quite far-fetched.
By the way, this is not the first time that an announcement of GTA 6 is expected during the Super Bowl. Last year, there were already rumors about a teaser for GTA 6. There was indeed the mentioned advertising, styled like GTA Vice City. Fans interpreted this as a clear sign, but in the end, there was no information about GTA 6.
