The game forge Blizzard has hit big with the new action RPG Diablo 4, and players of World of Warcraft benefit as well. Recently, a decent XP event started that will make “twinking” easier for you in the coming weeks.
What kind of event is this? The event is called “Welcome to Sanctuary” and is related to the release of Diablo 4. The new Blizzard game was released on June 6th and you benefit from bonuses on experience points and reputation.
The event brings the buff “Winds of Sanctuary”:
- Increases the experience points received by 50%
- Increases all received reputation points
- Excluded from the reputation bonus is the newest faction “Niffen” from patch 10.1
In the coming weeks, you can twink or level up new characters significantly. You need about 33% less time to level up.
How long does the event run? It started on June 15th and the “Winds of Sanctuary” will blow until July 12th. So there’s plenty of time to level up a character or farm some reputation points that have long been on the to-do list.

This pet is currently only available in black and is the reward for an almost endless puzzle.
You could obtain the red Baalial through treasure goblin events. These took place all over the world of WoW at different locations and times, dropping Diablo-themed items. Now, however, only the XP and reputation bonuses are online.

WoW could benefit from the small boost, Diablo 4 is currently everywhere. Some players are already complaining that the new action RPG has killed their guild.
However, unlike WoW, developer Blizzard has stated that Diablo 4 is not meant to be played forever. Who knows how long the demon butchers will still enjoy monster fillet.
