In Dragon Ball Daima, there is a new type of fusion that enables Son-Goku and Vegeta to potentially become even stronger. However, a condition must be met for this.
What is this new fusion? In Episode 4 of Dragon Ball Daima, Son-Goku and his companions discover a special shop. There, healing bugs are displayed as goods, which function similarly to the Senzu beans.
One type of bug allows a person to fuse with another. To do this, two people must eat half of the insect, allowing them to become one person for a limited time.

If Vegeta were to find out the PIN number and travel to Son-Goku in the Demon Realm, it would be possible for the two to become an incredibly strong character. Son-Goku actually bought two of the special bugs, allowing the group to fuse twice.

New bugs could bring a third fusion of Son-Goku and Vegeta
What fusions have there been between Son-Goku and Vegeta? So far, Son-Goku and Vegeta can fuse in two ways:
- Using the Potara earrings, Son-Goku and Vegeta merge into Vegetto. Each of the two must wear one of the earrings. Vegetto is one of the strongest fighters in the Dragon Ball universe.
- If the fusion dance is executed correctly, Son-Goku and Vegeta merge into Gogeta. In Dragon Ball Super, he is very aggressive, while in Dragon Ball GT, he is rather playful. The fusion dance has even made it to Destiny 2 as an emote.
Thus, the bugs would be the third option for Son-Goku and Vegeta to combine their powers. And this method could produce the strongest character so far.
What makes the bugs so strong? The character that results from it is said to be even stronger than the individual beings. Similar to the other types of fusions, the two people combine their powers, resulting in an even stronger fighter.
Unlike the fusion dance, where the partners need to have a similar energy level, which they may have to reduce, the bugs are simply consumed. They work similarly to the Potara earrings, but could produce an even stronger fighter than Vegetto. However, Son-Goku and Vegeta would need to grow again first.
