TFT: The 5 Best Champion Comps for Patch 11.3

On February 3rd, the new patch 11.3 for Teamfight Tactics was released. We at MeinMMO will reveal to you what new features it brought and what the currently best champion combos in the game are.

What has changed with patch 11.3? The new update made only minor changes and bug fixes. There was a slight buff for Dragon Soul, Tristana, and Brand, as well as a nerf to the attribute Spirit.

Warlords

Which chosen one does the combo need? This combo requires that you get a chosen one with Warlords or Nidalee as a sniping champion. There are several play styles here.

Variant 1 – 6 Warlords with Nidalee as the chosen one:

Nidalee – Warlord/Sniper
Jarvan IV – Warlord/Guardian
Katarina – Warlord/Lucky/Assassin
Azir – Warlord/Emperor/Guardian
Vi – Warlord/Brawler
Samira – Hellion/Sniper
Sivir – Cultist/Sniper
Depending on Nidalee’s attribute: Teemo – Spirit/Sniper or Tryndamere – Warlord/Duelist/Butcher

These attributes are used by the combo:

6 Warlords
2 Guardians
4 Snipers

Which items does the combo need? For the combo, it is important that Nidalee takes on the role of the carry:

Nidalee – Jeweled Gauntlet, Spear of Shojin, Guardian Angel or Hand of Justice
Teemo/Sivir – Zeke’s Herald, Chalice of Power

What does the early game look like? In the early game, you should early play 3 Warlords, 2 Snipers, and ideally even 2 Guardians. In transition, you can play 4 Guardians or quickly get 4 Snipers together.

What is the gold plan? You try to get to 50 gold without leveling too much. You try to get Nidalee to level 3 before you start leveling up.

Variant 2 – 9 Warlords with Katarina as the chosen one:

Nidalee – Warlord/Sniper
Jarvan IV – Warlord/Guardian
Katarina – Warlord/Lucky/Assassin
Azir – Warlord/Emperor/Guardian
Vi – Warlord/Brawler
Tryndamere – Warlord/Duelist/Butcher

Which items does the combo need? For the combo, it is important that Katarina takes on the role of the carry:

Katarina – Hextech Gunblade, Quicksilver, Titan’s Resolve
Jarvan – Sunfire Cape, Ionic Spark
Tryndamere – Guardian Angel, Infinity Edge

What does the early game look like? In the early game, you should early play 3 Warlords, 2 Snipers, and ideally even 2 Guardians.

What is the gold plan? You try to get to 50 gold and then find a chosen Katarina. For this, you should quickly aim for level 7. An alternative would also be Tryndamere as the chosen one and then equip him with better items.

Kayle and her Executioners

Which chosen one does the combo need? This combo can be played with a flexible chosen one, with an executioner significantly strengthening the team. Ideally, you want Kayle as the executioner, but Kayle as the divine also works.

Kayle – Divine/Executioner
Kindred – Spirit/Executioner
Xayah – Ancestral/Henker/Guardian
Yuumi – Mystic/Spirit
Shen – Adept/Ninja/Mystic

Which items does the combo need? The combo values Kayle as the carry in both cases:

Kayle – Rapid Firecannon, Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Quicksilver
Kindred – Zeke’s Herald, Chalice of Power
Yone – Blue Buff, Warmog’s Armor

What does the early game look like? In the early game, you ideally play a completely different combo that synergizes well with your items. Here, Snipers, Frontline Fighters, or Duelists are appealing.

What is the gold plan? You save up to level 50 and quickly level up to 8. Only then can you fully activate your combo and find Kayle as a chosen one.

Legendaries

Which chosen one does the combo need? This combo does not require a chosen one. The goal is to get as many individually strong units on the field in the late game as possible.

Which champions are used?

Shen – Adept/Ninja/Mystic
Yone – Adept/Exiled
Zilean – Cultist/Mystic
Swain – Dragon Soul/Remover
Samira – Hellion/Sniper/Butcher
Sett – The Boss/Brawler
Azir – Warlord/Emperor/Guardian
Morgana – Enlightened/Remover
Lee Sin – Divine/Duelist or optionally Ornn for the items

These attributes are used by the combo:

2 Adepts
2 Mystics
2 Removers

Which items does the combo need? In this combo, Samira and Yone are the important units

Samira – Last Breath, Guardian Angel, Guinsoo’s Rageblade
Yone – Blue Buff, Hextech Gunblade, Hand of Justice

What does the early game look like? In the early game, you play something completely different, where you can play Warlords, Frontline Fighters, Zed, and pretty much everything else.

What is the gold plan? In this combo, everything revolves around having a lot of gold and getting to level 8 and then 9 as quickly as possible. The legendary units will win the game for you at the end due to their strength.

Zed and Spirits

Which chosen one does the combo need? The combo does not necessarily focus on a chosen one, but Zed as a butcher is appealing.

Which champions are used?

Zed – Ninja/Butcher
Pyke – Cultist/Butcher/Assassin
Diana – Spirit/Assassin
Kindred – Spirit/Executioner
Teemo – Spirit/Sniper
Yuumi – Spirit/Mystic
Samira – Hellion/Butcher/Sniper
Zilean – Cultist/Mystic

These attributes are used by the combo:

3 Butchers
4 Spirits
2 Mystics
2 Snipers

Which items does the combo need? This combo relies on Zed as the carry and requires matching items

Zed – Rapid Firecannon, Ruunan’s Hurricane, Quicksilver
Kindred – Zeke’s Herald, Chalice of Power

What does the early game look like?

What is the gold plan? You try to get to 50 gold and find Zed or Pyke as the chosen one at level 5. You then have two options: Level quickly for Samira or bring Zed/Pyke to level 3. Both options can work, but Zed 3 is significantly stronger in the endgame.
