There isn’t much time left until the release of WoW: Midnight, but before fans decide to make a purchase, they want to know what the reviews promise. Therefore, we summarize the impressions of the first testers for you.
When can you expect reviews? WoW: Midnight has two release dates, which are:
- The start of Early Access on February 27, 2026
- The launch for all players on March 3, 2026
Before that, fans could already test the long-awaited housing feature, but you will only be able to truly dive into Midnight and play the campaign during the Early Access. Depending on how long the campaign is, it will take about 1 to 2 days, depending on the testers’ speed. So expect the first reviews around February 28 or March 1.
If that is the case, we will update our article and summarize all reviews to give you a comprehensive picture of the sentiment.
WoW: Midnight – The second part of a trilogy
What is WoW: Midnight about? In the new expansion “Midnight,” everything revolves around Xal’atath and her attack on the Sunwell of the Blood Elves. Through the essence of the Void Lord Dimensius, she has gained new power to pursue her goals further.
If she were to get her hands on the Sunwell, the Void could gain a new source of power. This would make it much easier for Xal’atath to corrupt the World Soul of Azeroth.
In battle, you are not alone, as many well-known heroes like Turalyon, Alleria, and their son Arator are on hand to support you. It remains exciting how the battle will end, as after Midnight there will be one last expansion that will conclude this trilogy.
After all, fans won’t have to wait much longer to dive into their new adventure. Midnight will offer a lot at release, but if you’re still unsure which edition you should choose, feel free to check out our release hub: WoW Midnight: Release, Raids, Early Access – Everything about the next expansion
