Blizzard has set the date for the company convention Blizzcon. But what delights await there?
On November 6 and 7, the Blizzcon will take place in the Convention Hall in Anaheim. Anaheim is known mainly for Blizzcon and for the hockey team with the Ducks. It is a California city just 40 kilometers from LA. Well, and something called “Disneyland” is supposed to be there as well…
The tickets ($199 + taxes/fees) for the Blizzcon are always in high demand. They are set to go on presale on April 16 and 18. Unfortunately for us: The first ticket presale starts on April 16 at 4:00 AM. The one on April 18 at 7:00 PM. There will also be the option to purchase a virtual ticket again.
At Blizzcon, there is usually also a big announcement along with a series of smaller ones, revolving around the now considerable number of live games that Blizzard maintains.
Early favorites for a mention at the opening event, where everyone in the audience will make that “Oh God, I’m simultaneously surprised, stunned, incredulous, and euphoric” sound, are:
- A new WoW expansion – perhaps Eye of Azshara
- Perhaps the next expansion for Diablo 3?
- A release date for Heroes of the Storm
- and supposedly Blizzard is still working on mysterious other games.
