In Tera , the summer patch “The Next” in Korea introduces a new class. This was only presented in a trailer.
While the last new class, the Arcane Engineer, had “big guns,” the new heroine, who remains unnamed, apparently has “big fists.” The teaser trailer shows not much, only a relatively scantily clad woman with two cybernetic killer fists, each as large as the rest of her body. And off she goes.
Parallels to the LoL heroine Vi (right) are striking.
At the moment, it is still unknown whether the new class will also be “gender-locked” like the two previous ones. Those were additionally “race-locked.” Only women of certain races could become the new class. This wasn’t received very well by the fans. “Resources” were cited by the developers as a reason. It would have taken too much work to offer more variations, and apparently, most players play with female characters anyway.
When the lady will arrive in the West with the summer patch “The Next”, is still unknown at the moment. Traditionally, it takes quite a while, maybe half a year.
