On a special server for TERA, players can only play for a few weeks – but great rewards await!
In the MMORPG TERA, players are used to regular events and special occasions, especially when new content patches are released. But now the EU publisher Gameforge has come up with something special and launched a “Hardcore” server that will only be active for a few weeks and then will be closed again.
But what is the special server Manahan all about?
The developers wanted to create a server where they could experiment with different settings. Therefore, special rules apply on Manahan, which opened on December 12.
New Rules on TERA Server Manahan
There are a variety of changes on Manahan; here are some highlights:
- Leveling to level 65 is harder. More experience points are required, and the attributes of classes have been slightly changed – leveling is more difficult.
- From level 65 onwards, the tables are turned. Dungeons are still somewhat harder than on regular servers, but there is much more loot! After all, the server is only available for a few weeks, so equipping must go quickly.
- PvP gets new rules. Only characters at level 65 can participate in the guild wars, and for example, no BAMs can be summoned in the Canyon of Honor.
- Each player has only 2 character slots on Manahan, which cannot be expanded.
Those who decide to play on Manahan can unlock many reward chests that can also be useful on the regular servers. Reward chests are available when a character reaches level 65, when logging in 25 times on Manahan, or when playing for 3 hours every day.
By the way, the server will only remain active until mid-January. Along with Patch 64, it will be closed again. However, those who have leveled their character to level 65 can transfer it to a regular server shortly before the end of the event. The character transfer will then be free of charge.
