The action MMORPG Tera seems to feel right at home on Steam. It claims the first place for itself, wanting to be the most played MMORPG, and that after just two weeks.
Since Tera launched on Steam on May 5, the action MMO has exploded. This is shared by the US publisher En Masse Entertainment. The game now has 4.5 million registered accounts in North America and 20 million worldwide.
And they are quite active, as shown in an infographic. Every day, 6 million of the famous “BAMs”, the “Big Ass Monsters” are killed. And if one received a dollar for every gold piece looted since the Steam launch, they would be worth 10 Gabe Newells. Tera claims the title of “most played MMORPG” for itself because it ranks very high in the Steam charts for “concurrent numbers”, the number of players logged in simultaneously.
It seems that TERA has found fertile ground in Steam with its action-oriented approach.
