After yesterday, the Blade Dancer found her way into TERA and a suitable contest has now been launched: If you manage to be one of the first ten Blade Dancers on your server, you will win a permanent weapon skin. All you have to do is:
- Create a Blade Dancer
- Reach level 60
- Take a screenshot of it and name it “The First 10 Blade Dancers of SERVERNAME”. Replace SERVERNAME with your realm name. Tip: You can hide your interface with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Z.
- Send the screenshot to [email protected] by June 1st at 23:59 MEST. In the email, you should also include the name of your character.
So far so good. However, the actually good idea has caused great discontent in the community. On one hand, there are issues with the launcher during patching once again, causing some players to be unable to play or only delayed. On the other hand, the free item for obtaining additional character slots was not sent to all accounts at the same time. Players whose slots were already full are now forced to either delete a character or wait. It is of course possible to buy the respective item in the shop for real money – but the discontent regarding this is significant.
With almost every release of new content and/or addons, the rush for server firsts begins – the purpose of which is often divisive in the community. If you dismiss this as nonsense or think of the people who set such goals for themselves, we would like to point you to our interview with Pryda who was among the first max-level players in The Elder Scrolls Online.
If you play Tera, will you participate in the contest?
