In the Pokémon MMO Temtem, your currency Pansun plays a very important role. That is why we tell you 3 tips to quickly get gold in Temtem in 2021.
What do you need money for in Temtem? Money plays an important role in Temtem. You need it for:
- Breeding new Temtems
- New items like potions or Tem cards
- New clothing sets, including expensive clothing for up to 40,000 Pansuns, which is considered the current endgame content
Therefore, we will show you how to quickly get Pansuns, also referred to by some as gold.
1. Earn money through FreiTem
What is FreiTem? FreiTem is an organization that you can find in the second zone of the game, in Omninesia.
This organization rewards you for releasing Temtem right after catching them. They pay you Pansun for each Temtem, and there are also weekly tasks that reset on Mondays.
How do I earn the most money through FreiTem? The amount of the reward from FreiTem depends on how rare a Temtem is and its level.
You can earn the most money with special specimens. The 5 most lucrative are (considering level 20):
- Oceara – 192 Pansuns
- Shuine – 170 Pansuns
- Kinu – 170 Pansuns
- Nessla – 113 Pansuns
- Ukama – 106 Pansuns
The value of Temtems increases the higher their level is. Besides, there are valuable Temtems that you cannot catch, such as Pocus or Smazee. You can theoretically exchange those as well.
A complete list of earnings can be found at Temtemstart. Always keep in mind that using a Tem card costs 15 Pansuns, which slightly reduces profit.
Where do I farm the best Temtem? One of the most lucrative locations is in the Far Omninesia at the volcano. In the marked area, you can find many Magmis and Mastione. Both are fire Temtem that you can quickly and effectively attack with a water team. This location is also perfect for beginners.
This way, you can catch as many Temtem as possible as quickly as possible without having to visit a healing station. If you do, the station is not far away:
- A level 38 Mastione yields 125 Pansuns directly
- A Magmis at level 35 yields 77 Pansuns
The king’s deal would be a Shuine, which you could theoretically catch directly at level 41. That would give you 328 Pansuns at once, but it is a very rare occurrence.

Another good place is in Juu Tunnel between Uhuru and Vumbi. There, you will encounter Grumvel 80% of the time at the entrance and Zizare 20%, each in level ranges between 32 to 35 and 39 for Zizare.
- For Zizare at level 39 you get 176 Pansuns
- For Grumvle at level 35 you get 112 Pansuns
The great thing here is that there are “no misses”. However, you are quite far from a place to store the Temtem.
The third farming spot is in Tasa Desert directly in the cave at the marked location on the map. You can expect:
- 75% Akranox at levels 40 to 46. At level 46, you get 135 Pansuns.
- 25% Pycko at levels 38 to 40. For a Pycko at level 40, you get 100 Pansuns.
What are the weekly rewards? Besides the rewards for releasing individual Temtem, there are also weekly rewards.
In the week of February 3, 2020, there was a Sub-Omninesia dye pack for releasing 300 Temtem. It costs 2,399 Pansuns if you want to buy it. You save it by completing the weekly challenge.
Other missions have been:
- Release 200 Temtem: 5x Silicone fragment
- Release 250 Temtem: 2x Life Force DNA strand (5,000 Pansuns each at the vendor)
- Release 250 Temtem: 2x Powerful DNA strand (5,000 Pansuns each at the vendor)
2. Earn gold through items
How do you earn money through items? Over the course of your adventures, items that you do not need accumulate in your inventory. They can be sold for good money at the vendor.
These items include:
- Sea salt – 300 Pansuns
- Mini crystals – 20 Pansuns
Unfortunately, you cannot specifically farm these items. However, you can find crates all over the world that you can now easily open without any issues.
It does not matter which vendor you sell the items to, as the prices are identical everywhere.
3. Earn Pansun through side quests
How do you earn money through side quests? In the world of Temtem, you will encounter side quests everywhere. These often reward you with Pansuns or items that you can then sell at the vendor.
So make sure to regularly and diligently complete your quests.
Sometimes you also discover hidden zones where trainers are waiting for you. Fights against trainers also reward you with Pansuns.
Bonus: Save money and auction house
How do I save money? One way to accumulate a lot of money is not to lose it. Every “death” deducts Pansuns from you, so you should rather visit a healing center once too often than not enough.
This way, you also save revives and ointments, which you should only use in emergencies. They are worth actual money as well.
What else is planned for Temtem? For the future, an auction house for Temtem is planned through which you can also make money. This is not yet included in early access.
