The streamer Blue_Squadron streamed over 660 hours of his adventures in Black Desert live on Twitch over the past 365 days. However, he was primarily a teacher in America until he was fired a few days ago. Members of his former guild had sent clips from his livestreams to the school administration.
How did he lose his job? In a livestream, Blue_Squadron revealed that he had a dispute with his guild in Black Desert. He actually wanted another player to be banned for his behavior but ended up getting thrown out himself.
The scandal in the guild echoed so strongly that some decided to send “inaccurate” Twitch clips to the school administration. Until then, they had no idea that the teacher was also a streamer in his free time.
On October 10, Blue_Squadron was summoned to the school administration and received his termination. In a statement, he explains:
It was nothing that could be called a big deal. I don’t create NSFW content on my platform, not even remotely. However, I stream a game, and the gaming community is, let’s be honest, incredibly sexist and objectifies women in many ways. If I make any remarks, provide commentary, or even consider a character in a video game in a sexual light, that is not necessarily suitable for high school students (whom I taught).
Although the streamer has labeled his content as 18+, this would be ignored by everyone and simply clicked away.
What was seen in the clips can no longer be traced. The streamer currently has only the most recent livestream from the day before yesterday in his archive.
Clips are often out-of-context excerpts from streams. They can develop an unforeseen life online.

What else does the streamer say? In the statement, it continues that as a teacher, one must maintain a certain level of professionalism and respect: “If students can see me online ranting about degenerate people, professionalism is out the window, and so is respect.”
However, his behavior in the game has never affected his work in the classroom:
At no point did this affect my duties or responsibilities in teaching. Until about 3 days ago, no one had any idea I was a content creator, and I was considered one of the funniest, most entertaining, and most genuine teachers at the school. No one had any idea because I never allowed my online gaming life to influence my professional career. However, when the two worlds collided, it was doomed to fail.
It becomes particularly emotional when the streamer talks about his father. He works at the school himself and has, of course, noticed the incident.
Blue_Squadron feels he has disappointed him, and all a child wants is to make their parents proud.

What’s next for Blue_Squadron? On Twitch, he revealed that after the termination, he had two options. Either look for a new job – and possibly give up streaming altogether – or work full-time as a content creator.
He chose the latter, which was very well received by his community. They are looking forward to seeing more of Blue_Squadron now.
