The brave letter from a teacher is now featured as a loading screen in Fortnite Mobile. The teacher wanted to show his students: Just watch out, I’m writing to the developers that you are always gaming during class.
We have already reported that Fortnite has become a kind of virus in the classrooms of US schools. Since the popular battle royale shooter launched on iOS devices, students in the USA have a massive distraction within reach. And John Wick help us if Fortnite Mobile comes to Android devices.

Teacher tells students: “I’m writing to Epic now if you don’t stop gaming!”
No question: Students are playing Fortnite during class. It seems that Mr. Hillman noticed this. He is a teacher and wrote on Reddit in a now-deleted post to the developers:
“My college friend and I play Fortnite almost every night. But I have a problem with that: Since it came out on mobile, my students won’t stop playing it in class. I promised them that I would write to you, but they didn’t believe me. I don’t know if it’s possible, but could you include a loading screen just to show them? At least for a few days? Mr. Hillman says: Stop playing in class!”
And Epic actually created just such a loading screen in less than two weeks and integrated it into Fortnite Mobile (thumbnail). A unicorn llama is now warning on a cloud with a rainbow: “Mr. Hillman says: Stop playing in class.”
Even the employees of Epic themselves find it amazing how quickly the company can react to something like this. The community manager K.L. Smith emphasizes this:
This is another sign of how closely Epic engages with the Fortnite community and how quickly they respond to community requests. The request of a disabled player to change the controls was also implemented within a few weeks.
Overall, the development pace of Fortnite is insane:
Fortnite is coming to mobile “just like that” – Why is everything happening so fast?
