In Tarisland, there are nine different classes with two specializations each, which can also be played in various ways. To make it easier for you to choose a simple build, we present our best builds for beginners. Our choice falls on the Warrior “Angry” Build and the Ranger “Hunting” Build.
What are these builds? We looked at which build for melee fighters and which build for ranged fighters is the simplest for all classes. The most important factor in our selection was a straightforward resource generation, so beginners wouldn’t struggle in combat.
In our assessment, we decided to exclude healers and tanks because they require advanced knowledge of MMORPG mechanics, which is not aimed at beginners.
Warrior Angry Build – As easy as no other melee class
Thanks to its simple resource system, the Warrior is probably the easiest class in the melee category. The powerful AOE ability allows the class to breeze through the leveling phase, and its Berserker Blades provides good burst damage.
The most important attributes for our Warrior Build are Combo and Cooldown. However, to make the Warrior Build in Tarisland truly simple, there are a few key points to consider.
This is how the Warrior Build works best as a beginner build
For the Warrior in the “Angry” specialization to deal good damage, you should use the ability “Berserker Blades” as often as possible. Although it has a longer cooldown, it deals a lot of damage. The ability can have two charges.
To avoid waiting too long for the ability, you gain an additional charge of “Berserker Blades” for every ten Anger you generate.
You generate Anger with the abilities “Cross Slash” and “Final Blow”, which are located on the standard bindings of keys 1 and 2.
To further increase the damage of your main damage source “Berserker Blades”, you can also achieve the status Rage. However, this requires some skill points.
These talent points are needed by the Warrior with the “Angry” Build
To enable your Warrior to deal the best damage as simply as possible, we recommend a “Rage” Build for the “Angry” Warrior. The following talent points from the talent tree are important:
- Rage – Every time Anger is full, you gain Rage, which enhances your “Berserker Blades”.
- Berserker Strike – The ability “Armor Penetration” grants you Rage immediately, giving you a good burst at the beginning of the fight.
- Rage+ – Grants you a damage bonus when you have the “Rage” status.
- Berserker Blades Assault and Berserker Blades + – Increase the duration and damage of Berserker Blades.
Once you reach the maximum level of 40, you should also invest your talent points in the skills Rage Spread and Frenzy. According to the current patch, these buffs only affect you and not your teammates anymore, nevertheless, these talents are worth it.
You can allocate the remaining talent points as you wish; our recommendation is to enhance the abilities “Cross Slash” and “Final Blow”, as you will frequently use these to generate Anger.
Ranger Hunting Build – Stand still and deal damage
The Ranger class is perfect for beginners who want to completely ignore the resource system, thanks to the Hunting Build. The Ranger prefers to move as little as possible during fights, which also plays into the favor of the beginner build.
A good burst and simply pressing the glowing abilities characterize the build. The most important attributes of the Ranger class are Crit and Cooldown.
This is how the Ranger Build works best as a beginner build
The most important point right from the start: The Ranger class with the “Hunting” build wants to move as little as possible. The longer you stand still, the higher your damage. If you need to move, it’s best to use your “Jump” ability, as this won’t reset your stability.
The current patch has made our build even stronger. If you have to move now, it costs less stability than before. This makes it even better for beginners.
To deal a lot of damage with the “Hunting” build, you should cast the abilities “Quick Shot” and “Bushwacker Shot” as often as possible when your stability is at maximum.
To increase your stability, you should ideally not move at all. Start your fight with “Corrosion Arrow” and “Quick Shot.” As long as you have full stability, you just need to keep all abilities on cooldown except for “Scatter Shot”.
These talent points are needed by the Ranger class for the Hunting Build
To enable your Ranger to also deal the necessary damage while remaining simple, we recommend a build based on the “Quick Shot” ability.
- Quick Shot + – Increases the damage of “Quick Shot” and “Bushwacker Shot”
- Stable Shot – The ability “Corrosion Arrow” brings your stability immediately to maximum, which is good for the start of the fight and increases critical damage.
- Explosive Arrow – Increases the damage of “Bushwacker Shot”
- Final Arrow – Massive damage bonus against low health targets
- Bushwacker Shot + – More damage and crit for “Bushwacker Shot”
Once you reach the maximum level of 40, you should take the talent Extreme Magnification Lens, which increases your damage even further.
You can distribute the remaining talent points in the talent tree as you wish. We recommend prioritizing the abilities “Stable Shot”, “Bushwacker Shot”, and “Quick Shot”. If you come from World of Warcraft and are no longer a beginner, we might have the perfect class for you to really get started in the new MMORPG Tarisland: This is the perfect class if you want to start Tarisland as a WoW player
