On June 21, Tarisland will not only be the first major MMORPG of 2024 but also the first ambitious online role-playing game since Lost Ark, which was notably released in February 2022 in the West. When will Tarisland be released for which platforms? The MMORPG by Tencent and Level Infinite will be released on June 21, 2024, at 09:00 AM German time for PC, Android, and iOS. Pre-download has been available since June 20 at 4:00 AM.
If you are already getting anxious because you may have had bad experiences in the past with online role-playing games that were released for both PC AND mobile devices, we can reassure you! Tarisland is a full-fledged MMORPG for PC in terms of controls, user interface, graphics, and complexity. Consider the mobile version as an optional bonus.

Payment Model: Is Tarisland Free to Play and Pay2Win?
How does Tarisland monetize? Thanks to the Free to Play payment model, you can simply download Tarisland and start playing from June 21, 2024. You can invest money into the MMORPG through the following offers:
- Monthly Battle Pass, which mainly provides cosmetic items and materials. All Battle Pass contents should also be earnable in-game.
- Optional subscription that grants you more experience for the Battle Pass, a bonus on stamina, and the auto-fishing feature. You also benefit from lower taxes in the marketplace.
- There is an in-game shop where you can purchase primarily cosmetic items such as skins, mounts, toys, and pets. You can also expand your bank vault or acquire more inventory slots here.
With crystals, there is a real-money currency through which you can pay for the Battle Pass, the subscription, and your purchases in the in-game shop. In addition, you can convert crystals to gold through the so-called ‘Trade Center’ and buy what other players want to sell with your real money – similar to how it’s done in WoW or Guild Wars 2.
The good news: After the Pay2Win shitstorm last year, the developers have made adjustments to make the payment model fairer. In the already playable Chinese version, for example, it is no longer possible to buy the best equipment for real money.
Full-fledged MMORPG for PC
Why should I try Tarisland? In the past ten years, it has been rare for new, ambitious MMORPGs to be released that focus on a PvE theme park with dungeons and raids.
Tarisland is just such an online role-playing game. Already in the tutorial, you will face the first boss fight, where other fighters will fight by your side. During the leveling phase and in the endgame, further 5- and 10-player challenges await you. Large raids for 20- and 40-player groups are planned.
In line with the focus on PvE group challenges, Tarisland uses an old-school tab-targeting combat system similar to WoW and Final Fantasy XIV. You have nine classes to choose from, each with two specializations. You can switch between them and thus adjust your role.

Traditionally, the story of Tarisland leads you through the adventure with the associated quests like a red thread. Off the beaten path, you can level professions, engage in trade, or try your hand at PvP.
The fights between players take place in instanced arenas or on battlefields. Equipment is set to a comparable level there. Those who rise through the PvP ranks receive stat bonuses for PvP confrontations.

What system requirements does Tarisland have?
For PC, your system must meet the following system requirements:
- Recommended: Win10 64-bit / CPU i5 / 16 GB RAM / dedicated GTX 1060 graphics card / 40 GB storage or more
- Minimum: Win10 64-bit / CPU i5 / 8 GB RAM / dedicated GTX 750 graphics card / 40 GB storage or more
For Android, the developers recommend:
- Recommended: Kirin 985 / Snapdragon 865 / Dimensity 1200 or higher
- Minimum: Snapdragon 660 / Kirin 950 or higher
- Initial Android package size: 1.45 GB
For iOS, it is short and sweet:
- Recommended: iPhone 8 or higher
- Initial iOS package size – 3.17 GB
Tablets require at least 15 GB of available storage space.

Is Tarisland coming to console (PS5, Xbox, Switch), is there controller support?
Is a console version and controller support planned? So far, there has been no official announcement for a console port of Tarisland. Currently, you cannot experience the MMORPG on PS5, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch. There will also be no controller support at launch. Instead, you control the MMORPG on PC traditionally with mouse and keyboard.
