The grind in SWTOR shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. The developers are adding more levels to the Galactic Command.
The current expansion of Star Wars: The Old Republic has been well received by most players – at least the story part. However, for many players, the endgame consists only of tedious grinding to level up further in the Galactic Command. In Knights of the Eternal Throne, these level-ups are needed to access new and better rewards, as each level-up grants a new loot box.
BioWare has now announced on Twitter that the current system is not nearing an end yet. Instead, 100 more levels will soon be added to the Galactic Command.
The game’s fans are reacting to this announcement rather disappointed and seem unimpressed, as most Jedi and Sith simply have no desire for more grinding. A few die-hard fans, however, welcome the change, as it gives them something to do for a few more weeks.
Currently, there is also a bonus active in SWTOR, allowing all players to earn massive experience points for the Galactic Command. Leveling up and cashing in on boxes is faster than ever before.
How do you feel about the system surrounding the Galactic Command? Is it just a mindless grind or exactly what is needed to ensure individualized progress for every player?
A while ago, the bolster effect in SWTOR was also changed in PvP – equality, goodbye!
