BioWare has released a new SWTOR teaser that, as expected, is about the story of Knights of the Fallen Empire.
Star Wars like players have never experienced before
In the latest teaser for Star Wars: The Old Republic, the Lead Writer Charles Boyd speaks up, who is primarily responsible for the storyline in Knights of the Fallen Empire.
What distinguishes KotFE from the previous expansions is not only that there are plenty of new story chapters, but also that subsequent chapters will appear in quick succession that will continue the story. The video shows some gameplay scenes and reveals what BioWare had in mind with the new expansion: Players are meant to be emotionally stirred and feel truly connected to the world of Star Wars – let’s hope that succeeds.
I must say that the last sentence makes me a little skeptical. Does this perhaps mean that KotFE will be released “unfinished” and the main story will be told gradually without at least receiving a satisfying conclusion? Time will tell – very soon.
