A few days ago, the developers of “Star Wars: The Old Republic” addressed player concerns regarding queue times and server structure. While they couldn’t provide concrete statements yet, they did mention several points they want to tackle in the coming year – from which at least theories can be derived.
First, the issue of queue times in PvP and PvE areas will be addressed, and they will also “rethink the separation of servers”. A natural possibility here would be cross-server battlegrounds and flashpoint visits, as they are already common practice in many other games.
Furthermore, they also want to continue to “support the chosen playstyle of the server, be it PvE, PvP, RP or RP-PvP” – this certainly reassures role-players that RP servers will not be abolished.
Lastly, they aim to improve the social systems within the game world or expand them. Here too, many known options present themselves, such as cross-server guilds or circles, reminiscent of those from WildStar. As soon as there are clear statements from the developers, we will of course inform you.
Finally, a small note: For the past two days, the “Life Day” event has returned to SWTOR and offers this year for the first time some housing items that are only available for a limited time.
