The new Flashpoint “Rakata Prime” has been released today and can be accessed on the live servers of Star Wars: The Old Republic, leading the “forged alliances” storyline to its finale.
On the mysterious jungle planet, which was also the main world of the legendary Rakata, it will be your task to uncover the truth behind the legendary “Starmap” – it siphons energy from a nearby star and transforms it into something – what exactly that is, you will have to find out for yourself! As with previous updates, you will again be accompanied by the Wookiee smuggler Jakarro and his translator droid to assist you with advice and actions (and a bit of cheekiness) during the assault on the temple site.
Galactic Strongholds coming soon for preferred players
Starting next Tuesday, September 16, all players with preferred status in Star Wars: The Old Republic will also gain access to the game’s housing feature, the “Galactic Strongholds”. Free2Play players will have to wait another month – they will be able to take possession of their homes only on October 14.
Patch 3.0 is noticeably approaching
Lastly, it has been revealed in the official forum of Star Wars: The Old Republic that the first teasers for the major Patch 3.0 will appear within the next week and a complete announcement with all the new features is expected by the end of the month – we will keep you updated as soon as new information is available.
