Since July 21, the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) is also playable on Steam. The PC online role-playing game can instantly excite many players.
What is SWTOR? Star Wars: The Old Republic (short SWTOR) was released back in 2011 for PC. It places you in the war of the Sith Empire against the Galactic Republic, around 3,000 years before the Star Wars movies.
You decide which side you want to stand on and can experience many adventures as a Jedi Knight, Sith Lord, or Bounty Hunter, as well as a Smuggler. SWTOR focuses on storytelling, where you can even make decisions. These decisions determine how your hero develops and how NPCs react to you. The story is fully voiced.
The game has now launched on Steam after a corresponding hint earlier this month.

How did the launch on Steam go? The launch on Steam in the afternoon of July 21 immediately attracted the interest of many players. According to SteamDB, there were peak 25,508 players online so far. Even now there are still 23,755.
