If you only want to experience the story of SWTOR, you can now take advantage of a special character boost. What it brings and how it works, we reveal here.
In Star Wars: The Old Republic there has long been the option to promote any character directly to a high level, so that the player can immediately participate in the latest content.
However, these character boosts had a crucial disadvantage: The main story of the character was automatically completed – without being able to make decisions or having the opportunity to play the story afterwards. Since there are always references to past events in the current content, the player is often at a loss and has no idea what it is actually about.
A new character service in the cartel shop of SWTOR now provides relief.
Starting from November 28, the item “Datacron and Master’s Equipment Package” will be available for purchase for 2,000 cartel coins (around €15).
With the Master’s Datacron, any character can be directly set to level 70. Additionally, there is a package with starting equipment, so that the fresh level 70 hero can dive straight into the current content.
The special thing: The progress of the story is not changed here. Those who want to experience the original class story can play it at their leisure and without difficulty – at level 70 the fights are no longer a challenge.
The player will only have access to a spaceship, even if it has not been unlocked in the story yet (which is still possible afterwards).
The offer is therefore aimed primarily at players who simply want to experience the story but do not feel like leveling or challenging fights.
