The new MMORPG Swords of Legends Online (SOLO) had a successful launch, but now it is important to maintain player numbers. Gameforge seems to be aware of this, and thus the first raid for the game will already come next week. What’s inside?
What is it about? The new MMORPG SOLO has announced its first raid for July 29, 2021. In the roadmap for this year, the first raid “Xuanjiu Jade Palace” was announced for July, but now there is a specific date.
You will be able to tackle the raid with 10-20 players, and it will allow you to further enhance your equipment. It is aimed at endgame players who found the previous dungeons in the game too easy, or at those of you who are looking for a real challenge.
Everything we know about the 1st raid, the battle pass, and the summer event
How does the raid work? In the developer livestream, we were able to see the raid already. You will have to face six different bosses, each offering different mechanics. You will find the entrance to the raid below Meixin Island.
The fights look demanding and visually appealing. The Jade Palace takes you through very diverse terrain. The beginning still looks exactly like one would imagine a Jade Palace – but soon you will pass through solid ice and deep caves to reach the next bosses.
If everything goes smoothly, your group will likely be occupied with the raid for between 30 and 45 minutes. In the next video, you will find a complete run through the Jade Palace, so beware – spoiler alert!
What else has happened? The developers also talk about the upcoming summer event in the video. This was also announced in the roadmap. However, there are no major surprises, and you only see gameplay from the beach. Where else should one enjoy their summer?
The focus of community comments, however, is not on the raid, but on the also announced battle pass. This comes in two versions, a free one and a paid one. It contains only cosmetic content. Nevertheless, some players are complaining about a paid battle pass in a Buy2Play title.
What do you think? Are you still playing Swords of Legends Online? Are you looking forward to the raid? Or have you disappeared into the New World Beta by now? Let us know in the comments!
Meanwhile, the publisher Gameforge rejoices over the sales figures of SOLO.
