The new update Swords of Chult has been released for the PC version of the MMORPG Neverwinter and promises to offer a better gaming experience.
Is Neverwinter slowly losing momentum? Admittedly, one does get the feeling of playing similar content – even if these take place in new areas. The gameplay itself also feels like it has become rather “worn out”. PvP could have used an update a long time ago.
Neverwinter still has a loyal fan base, and it’s commendable that new content is regularly being released. But somehow, there is a feeling that it’s time for something truly new and different. The developers likely agree.
Changes Optimize Gameplay
With the newly released update Swords of Chult, the developers aim to improve gameplay flow and tweak comfort features – in short: Neverwinter is intended to become a better game. This applies to both PvE and PvP modes. These improvements include:
- Optimizations in inventory management and refinement – everything operates faster and more simply now
- With the new “Patronage Seals”, you now achieve significantly faster progress in campaigns you have already completed with your main character using additional characters on your account
- Improvements to PvP: Toughness as a PvP entry barrier has been removed, PvP items in PvP environments scale, diminishing effects have been introduced, the PvP solo queue is now a permanent feature, and there’s new PvP gear
- New random queues should shorten waiting times a bit
- In the new skirmish “The Folly of the Merchant Prince”, you will visit three random destinations where you will face randomly generated enemies
- The flying carpet is the first two-seater flying “mount” in the game
You will experience these innovations, changes, and improvements starting now with the update Swords of Chult. The update is initially available only for the PC version of the MMORPG Neverwinter. Players on Xbox One and PS4 will have to wait a bit longer.
