You’re into SAO action RPGs? For just €8 you can visit Kirito in Gun Gale Online.
The franchise “Sword Art Online” is not only represented in the anime realm, but has also spawned many video games. Although we are not yet able to fully dive into a game with a “Full Dive”, there are numerous video games featuring Kirito, Asuna, and various worlds from the anime series.
Many games from the franchise are somewhat ridiculed or have mixed reviews. However, this is not the case with “Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet,” which you can currently buy for €8 on Steam.
When does Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet take place? According to that, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet does not take place in Aincrad, the world from the first season, but in “Gun Gale Online” – a virtual MMO shooter with various areas.
Anyone who has watched the second season of Sword Art Online is already familiar with this game world.
What kind of game is this? Fatal Bullet is a mix of a 3rd-person shooter and action RPG. You create your own avatar and explore the world of Gun Gale Online while following the storyline, collecting better equipment, or diving into PvP battles.
The game is predominantly a single-player experience and presents you with an exciting story in Gun Gale Online, where you also encounter some familiar characters from the anime.
There is co-op, but only in combat against certain bosses – that’s just a very small part of the game.
In PvP battles, you can compete against other players and in teams of 4 characters each.
What do the reviews say? Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is among the better-rated games in the series and is considered pretty good. This also leads to a Steam rating of 80% positive reviews (with over 14,000 reviews total).
If you haven’t given the game a chance yet, but are generally interested in the world and story of Sword Art Online, you should take the opportunity. Because until October 2nd, you can get the game for €8 on Steam – or the “Complete Edition” for €18.71 with all 4 DLCs.
