The game Ark: Survival Evolved is getting a sequel. At the Game Awards 2020, ARK 2 was announced. The new game is being released in collaboration with Microsoft and exclusively for the Xbox Series X/S and PC.

This caused confusion in the community. The Lead Community Manager of Ark, Cedric “CeddyBear” Burkes, clarified on Twitter:
“Attention! There is some confusion here. ARK 2 will launch on PC and exclusively on Xbox.
I look forward to sharing more information in due time.”

What kind of game is this? Not many details about ARK 2 are known at this time. What is clear is that it will once again involve dinosaurs and that this time there will be a greater focus on a story campaign.
