After the event for Season 3 in Fortnite: Battle Royale, players are now experiencing cool glitches with first-person view. It is fully functional. Is this a planned feature?
What do players see? Usually, you play Fortnite: Battle Royale in third-person view. You look as a kind of “third person” from behind the character you control. However, first-person shooters also have view modes where you use the character’s perspective directly – thus, you see the weapon and hands in front of you.
And exactly this view was experienced by some players after the big event for the new Season 3 in Fortnite. They report that they suddenly started playing in first-person view due to a glitch.

More videos on first-person: On reddit, user towzentinho shared his recording of the glitch. He writes, “The device event was so crazy that it glitched my camera and turned Fortnite into a first-person shooter”.
Below, a player writes that the positions of the hands and weapons look so good that this view might be a feature for the future.
This comment receives a lot of support. Another player notes: “Yes, I think you are right. It looks too perfect for a glitch. A choice between first and third person would be great in my opinion.”
During the big live event, all players briefly experienced first-person view when they found themselves in an office. This fits with the glitch.

The YouTuber claims that the glitch occurred for him after the event. He says that building in this view is sometimes difficult.

Is it intentional? Some players on YouTube and reddit are now wondering whether it’s really just a glitch and that such a view was not planned. Or if this view will really become part of Fortnite.
