The Spotter Perk in Call of Duty: Warzone is underestimated by many players. However, fans of the perk are now showing why it is totally underrated.
What is the Spotter Perk? This perk, known as Spotter in English, allows you to scout enemy mines and claymores, even through walls and ceilings. If you get close enough, you can even hack them and make them explode. The opponent won’t notice anything.
Nevertheless, the “Spotter” perk is less popular than other perks. Players on Reddit have now shown why this is unjustified.
Spotter Perk in Warzone Underrated
The problem with perks is: The yellow perks, including Spotter, are quite strong, and often Spotter is not chosen because other perks seem to provide a greater advantage at first glance. For example, there are:

- Tune Up – 25% faster revive
- Amped – Faster weapon swap

What makes the Spotter Perk so good: When you enter a house and realize that there are enemies in the upper floors, you often run straight into a well-placed claymore or mine. However, the perk will show you right away if and where these enemy traps are located.
Additionally, thanks to the perk, you can even hack the mines and claymores. In the best case, your opponent won’t notice anything and will still expect you to run into their traps.
However, you can then sneak away quietly and completely surprise the enemies, taking them out from behind. A Reddit user demonstrated this impressively by eliminating a whole nest of enemies that had relied a bit too much on their trip mines:

There is another advantage: If you hack the mines, they work for you. If an enemy runs through their mine after hacking, they can expect a nasty surprise. You can even hack through walls and take out hard-to-reach enemies.
