To open his beer, this Twitch streamer wants to use a special item. After a brief poll, he decides on his headset. And then the dilemma is big.
Who is it about? The Twitch streamer Jayden “xDwn” Saunders has a relatively small channel on the streaming website with nearly 1,300 followers. He streams various games like Doom or Fortnite.
However, his clip from May 15 has already received over 65,000 views. In it, he tries to open his beer bottle with an expensive headset.
Why does he open his beer with a headset? Before the action, he talks in the stream about wanting to open his beer with “some item from his room.”
It should be something special. “Something that you believe I can’t use to open a beer,” he says in the voice chat, “I’ll open the beer with that.”
In the voice chat, someone then says “headset” and the streamer accepts the challenge. He then takes off his red headphones and applies them to the bottle. He explains beforehand that it is a twist-off cap and not a crown cap.
Before the attempt, he says that he doesn’t want to break the headphones. Then he fails the first time and tries a different technique. This time he is sure he would only damage the headset, but not break it.
This is how the attempt ended: With the opening attempt he destroyed the headset. He was left holding only a strap with ear cup from which a cable was dangling. “I didn’t think that would happen,” says the streamer afterwards, who looks visibly affected by the mishap.
Shortly thereafter, he set up a new donation goal: he wants 300 Australian dollars for a new headset. When asked, xDwn revealed that he also paid about 300 Australian dollars for the headset from the clip.
