Elina is a streamer from Sweden who traveled to Italy four days ago. From there, she shared her vacation experiences live on her phone. However, her last livestream ended unpleasantly. A motorcyclist stole her smartphone live. The streamer is in good health, though.
What exactly happened? Elina was walking through the streets of the Italian city of Naples and initially moved along the main streets. However, she gradually moved away from these major roads into narrow alleys because she was being followed by a drunk man and was also afraid that her phone could be stolen. Therefore, she kept the smartphone not too far from herself with her selfie stick (via Twitch).
However, avoiding the narrow alleys did not help. Just before the theft, she said: “The streets are so long here, it’s crazy. If I were to die live in front of the camera, live in the stream, that would probably be good content.”
Not even five seconds later, a motorcyclist rides past her and steals the phone. The stream continues for a few more seconds, showing the street Elina had been looking at earlier. Then, however, the stream is shut down by the thief.

How did the streamer react to the theft? Elina reported shortly after the robbery in a story on Instagram and revealed that she was doing well under the circumstances. She was “a little shaken” because her phone was stolen.
According to comments from her community, she is supposed to be traveling in Italy with her father and brother. Whether they will continue the vacation together is not known.
In the comments on reddit and on Instagram, many users expressed their shock over the theft and generally warned about the city of Naples. Thefts by motorcyclists are not uncommon there.
Real-life streams are not without danger: The so-called IRL streams are popular on Twitch because viewers can follow their idols in real life. They see what they eat, where they walk, or how they spend their vacation. However, dangerous situations often arise in the process.
