A streamer has invested a lot of money in his PC equipment. Now he has presented his setup worth $30,000 in a video. And it’s impressive.
Who is it about? The setup belongs to the well-known YouTuber and FaZe member Nordan “Rain” Shat. His channel currently has over 5 million followers. The FaZe Clan is an American eSports organization.
Shat explained in his video that his PC was the first thing to be set up after he and his team moved into a new house. The house in Los Angeles was also not cheap at $30 million (via dexerto.com).
Now he is ready to do completely new things with his setup. His favorite games that he wants to play now include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone and Valorant.

What kind of processor is in the PC? The processor is an Intel I9-9900K. This is currently one of the fastest 8-core processors on the market. The direct competitor would be the Ryzen 7 2700X. For a lot of money, you get very high performance here.

What motherboard is used? The motherboard is the Micro-Star MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard. This is the high-end series from MSI. Four DDR4-DIMM slots, six SATA 6Gb/s, and two M.2 SATA interfaces provide enough performance for a fast PC. The cost for the high-end model is currently between 150 and 170 Euros.
This graphics card works in the PC: The streamer relies on an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti for the graphics card. The card offers enormous performance. Toms Guide rightly calls the card the “king in 4K.”
In conjunction with the right screen, extremely high refresh rates beyond 140 Hz are possible. For streamers who prefer to play fast shooters, this is immensely important.
However, the price for the performance is also quite steep: It currently lies between 1200 and 1500 Euros.
With these screens, Nordan “Rain” Shat plays: For monitors, the streamer uses two 27-inch Acer Predator XB272 monitors with 240Hz. These devices feature a TN panel with a resolution of 1,920 × 1,080. The pixel density is 82 ppi. For users who primarily play fast games like Valorant or Call of Duty, a fast refresh rate is very important. The monitors cost around 600 Euros each.
The streamer uses a sound mixing system: Also noteworthy is the sound mixing system that connects all audio devices to the PC. The streamer relies on GoXLR, a mixer that is specially designed for streamers. Here you can control microphone, music, Discord, and game sound individually. When Tfue left FaZe, he left his equipment, including his keyboard, there. The special keys from Tfue have now been acquired by Nordan “Rain” Shat.
