What role did Amouranth play on Twitch? The shrewd businesswoman Kaitlyn Siragusa was long considered “Amouranth” one of the few major female streamers on Twitch. At times, she was even the only woman in the top 100 most-watched streamers on the platform.
Amouranth’s success was based on showcasing risqué but still permissible content on Twitch and then funneling fans to the paid platform OnlyFans. In 2021, she was at the forefront of establishing new trends on the streaming platform or at least making them popular.
- Amouranth is considered one of the streamers who significantly shaped the “Hot Tub” meta: She sat in skimpy swimwear in a hot tub, chatted with her viewers, and wrote their names on her skin.
- Amouranth is also known for ASMR content and was a co-founder of the “Ear Licking” meta, where female streamers licked their microphones while wearing skin-tight leggings.
Since Amouranth signed a lucrative contract with Kick and divides her time between streaming platforms, she plays a significantly lesser role on Twitch. However, her success has motivated many other female streamers to pursue a similar business model. Now it is they who are setting new trends and establishing metas.

What are these new trends? Among Amouranth’s “heirs”, the streamer and adult actress Morgan “Morgpie” Stone is currently standing out. She drew attention in December 2023 with the “Topless meta”: Wearing a strapless top and strategically placed cropping, she created the impression of being “topless” on air.
Soon after, a new trend emerged that apparently originated from the Twitch streamer “firedancer”: Female streamers concealed their breasts or intimate areas behind black censorship bars, while they were still dressed underneath. Even Amouranth personally participated in this trend.
This fueled the long-standing discussion about nudity on Twitch. The streaming platform promptly issued new guidelines for artistic nudity, which were quickly adjusted again following a flood of naked anime figures.

What is the new meta? Currently, Morgpie is making waves with a very particular idea: she uses her own behind as a green screen while playing Fortnite or doing reactions. Here you can get a glimpse of the impressive streams:
As the website PCGamer points out, the butt-screen is anything but efficient: only half the screen is visible, and important UI elements are simply cut off. It is questionable how much viewers really see of the gameplay—although this likely doesn’t matter to the average 3,400 fans who watched Morgpie’s streams last week (via SullyGnome).
Morgpie is growing while Amouranth is losing followers
How is it going for Morgpie? In short: quite well. While Morgpie is still not reaching the highs of Amouranth in 2021, she has been regularly streaming since February 2023.
With the “topless” streams in December 2023, there was a significant jump; Morgpie was able to nearly triple her viewer count. Just this month, the streamer could gain 72,000 new followers—a 250% increase for her.
In the last 180 days, Morgpie increased her viewers overall by almost 250%, and the increase in watch hours even corresponds to over 450% (via SullyGnome).
The numbers also show that the channel of the 22-year-old is growing while Amouranth is losing followers. Morgpie streams significantly more on Twitch and has almost as many viewers as Amouranth, resulting in a higher watch time.
Morgpie is therefore well on her way to taking over Amouranth’s legacy.
Alongside the rising star Morgpie, an old acquaintance on Twitch is currently back in the spotlight: Jenelle “JenFoxx” Dagres, formerly “Indiefoxx”, was once Amouranth’s great rival but then received an indefinite ban. Since 2023, she is back and currently one of the biggest female streamers on the platform.
