Twitch streamer Jenelle “Indiefoxx” Dagres has been banned from the platform 6 times already in 2021 alone. However, the latest ban is now permanent, as she herself states. Her consequence: Now she streams on YouTube.

- Indiefoxx is known for her rather revealing content and mastering the “Hot Tub Meta”. This caused quite a stir, even among other streamers.
- Throughout the year, Indiefoxx received 6 bans from Twitch, some only a few days apart. The last ban occurred on June 29.
- On social media, the streamer now shares: The last ban was permanent. From now on, she can be found on YouTube.
This is the current status of Indiefoxx: With the last ban from Twitch, Indiefoxx also lost her partner status. Afterwards, there was largely silence from her regarding Twitch.
The reasons for her bans were never specifically stated.
In a new tweet, Indiefoxx revealed that she will be streaming on YouTube Gaming. Her first stream has taken place on Saturday, October 9, on her YouTube channel JenelleCat.
The streamer is joining some other names who have also switched to YouTube. The others are primarily well-known shooter streamers who are migrating from Twitch to YouTube. Most of them have not faced any bans.
Who is the streamer? Indiefoxx has polarized strongly during her time on Twitch. With over 2 million followers, she has built a noteworthy fan base. However, she has often come under fire from critics and other streamers for her streaming style.
Often showed in revealing clothing, Indiefoxx was mostly seen in the “Hot Tub” section on Twitch, where she chatted with viewers. The entire category is controversial as it appears to place sexualized content in the spotlight.
According to a recent leak, Indiefoxx was not among the absolute top earners on Twitch, contrary to the belief of many critics. Nevertheless, what she did is not viewed favorably by many.
Sexualized content under criticism
Well-known female figures like Pokimane criticize that such revealing streams are both made possible and tolerated on Twitch. She believes that such content poses a danger to the future of Twitch. Users also say: Streamers like Indiefoxx ruin Twitch for all women.
A major point of criticism is also how Twitch handles the bans. The policy, according to some streamers, gives the impression that double standards are being applied. Female streamers like Indiefoxx received only short bans, while there are much harsher penalties for seemingly less offensive behavior.
Also, the entire section is not good for the image of female streamers. “Just because some female streamers do this, it puts other female streamers in a situation where they experience bullshit,” criticizes the streamer QTCinderella.
Currently, however, Twitch seems to be taking a stronger stance against content creators who stretch the rules of what is acceptable too far. Another well-known name in the sector is Amouranth. She is primarily known for her ASMR content. Amouranth received a ban in June for licking her microphone. Apparently, that went too far.
