The Twitch streamer Lisa “STPeach” Vannatta (28) raised donations for a good cause. During the stream, she was frequently pointed out by her viewers about a box that was prominently in the picture. The shifting of this box earned her a ban from Twitch.
Who is the streamer?
- STPeach, also known as Lisa Peachy, has recently been streaming mainly in the Just Chatting category. When she plays, she chooses games like Dark Souls or League of Legends.
- The streamer has an average of 1,000 viewers during her broadcasts and has over 1 million followers on Twitch.
- Additionally, she operates an Instagram account with 1.8 million followers and a TikTok account with 707,600 followers and 6.9 million likes. She also has a YouTube channel, where she uploads VLOGs very infrequently.
- Recently, STPeach raised over $10,000 in a livestream for children and families in need, which, however, led to her ban.
Twitch streamer STPeach moves box and violates guidelines
Why was the streamer banned? In the donation stream, STPeach wore a rather revealing outfit, which suggested what it might look like from behind.
In her stream, there was a blue, eye-catching box that viewers repeatedly referenced. Whether this happened intentionally, as they wanted a view of the entire outfit from all angles, is unclear.
However, at some point, STPeach stood up and pushed the box out of the frame (via Livestreamfails.com). “Okay, I’m just going to move the box since everyone is talking about it,” she said, while being seen from behind and revealing her entire backside.
By doing exactly that, the streamer violated Twitch’s guidelines, which do not allow overly revealing outfits. She earned herself a ban.
This is how STPeach reacted to the ban: “Banned from Twitch. Next time I will make sure to bring a hot tub. At least the kids get their $10,000,” she tweeted.
With this, she is referencing the hot tub category on Twitch, where streamers regularly present themselves in revealing outfits, in bikinis. Previously, female streamers have complained about Twitch’s double standards.
How long STPeach was banned from Twitch is unknown, but it was not a permanent ban. It could only be a matter of a few hours or days before the streamer can go live again.
Update from March 4: STPeach was unbanned after one day and can continue her Twitch streams as usual.
