Streamer collects 100,000 euros in memory of a deceased viewer who accompanied him from the beginning on Twitch

When the Twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren discovers that a viewer of his has passed away, he organizes a charity stream in her name. Because she was a very special viewer to him.

Why is Ludwig Ahgren collecting donations? The Twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren announced on November 13, 2025 on X that he had recently learned that a viewer named Kanabana had passed away. This viewer was special to the Twitch streamer, as she had been there when he had just about 100 viewers in his streams.

Looking at the statistics on SullyGnome for Ludwig, it can be determined that the viewer must have been around since approximately 2018. That year, he had an average of 166 viewers per stream.

The viewer not only watched his streams, but she also chatted with Ludwig and others during the streams. Ludwig further explains that she helped him turn his “silly dream” of being a streamer into a “full-fledged career.”

“Really happy to have this community”

What did Ludwig collect donations for? The Twitch streamer continues on X that Kanabana was transgender and Ludwig’s community was one of the few “places” where she felt comfortable enough to show this. Because of this, Ludwig collected donations for the Trevor Project, a U.S. organization that provides assistance for queer people. They, for example, operate a suicide hotline for young queer individuals.

How much did the Twitch streamer collect? On November 13, Ludwig therefore started the charity stream in memory of his former viewer. The stream lasted a total of 15 hours over two days. In total, together with his community, he was able to raise over $104,000 (approximately over €89,000).

In another post on X, Ludwig thanked for the numerous donations. He wrote among other things: “I am really happy to have this community.”
