The 31-year-old Hasan Piker, known as “HasanAbi”, is a popular political streamer on Twitch, who holds leftist views. On September 23, the influencer “lavlunee” accused him of having slept with her then 17-year-old girlfriend when he was 24. These allegations came to light on November 14. HasanAbi responded on the same day, denying everything.
What are the allegations? On November 14, the streamer ChudLogic displayed a screenshot of a message that lavlunee wrote via Discord on September 23.
In this message, lavlunee accuses the political streamer HasanAbi of having slept with her then 17-year-old girlfriend. She does not name the person.
The accusation does not come from the alleged victim herself, but from an acquaintance
Who is lavlunee? lavlunee, who also goes by Lavender or lavenderlunee, describes herself as an artist and feminist. She runs an Instagram account with 101,000 followers and is also active on Twitter.
Additionally, she uses Patreon to publish diary entries, essays, and explicit content that only paying supporters can see. In the past, she has faced criticism for her statements on issues like sexism and racism (via Twitter).
On Discord, she wrote on September 23:
I find Hasan’s outrage about everything really funny because he slept with my girlfriend when she was about 17 and he was 24.

A clip of the stream featuring the message subsequently appeared in the LivestreamFail subreddit and sparked a discussion there with hundreds of comments. Many users doubt the veracity of the allegations.
What is this subreddit? r/LivestreamFail is the largest general community on streaming on Reddit, with 1.6 million members. There, clips from streams on Twitch or YouTube are primarily posted and discussed.
When a topic heats up there, it is a good indicator of what is currently on the minds of the streaming community. Currently, there are several threads about HasanAbi on LivestreamFail, with the largest threads garnering 3,500 and 2,600 upvotes and up to 700 comments.
Many streamers closely monitor what happens on LivestreamFails and purposefully use the reach of the discussion forum to boost their popularity. There exists a kind of love-hate relationship between streamers and the forum.
HasanAbi responded to the allegations on the same day. He not only denied their authenticity but also hinted that lavlunee could face a lawsuit for defamation.

This is what HasanAbi says about the allegations: At the beginning of his stream on November 14, HasanAbi addressed the accusations and labeled them as fabricated.
I know what the allegations are. They are completely insane. They are false. We will get to that. They are also totally illegal.

Hasan explained that he knows which person the allegations refer to. He admitted to having dated the young woman, but she had not been 17 when he met her, but rather 19. He himself is said to have been 25 at the time and not 24.
The identity of the person Hasan does not want to reveal at this time. He indicated, however, that she could be a publicly known person. The young woman is reportedly not one of his fans, so there was no power dynamic in his favor between them, Hasan said.
The prominence of the woman is said to be significant enough that such an incident would attract attention beyond the streaming bubble. HasanAbi also explained that such claims could have legal consequences for lavlunee.
It’s hard not to say anything here. But considering who the person is, the allegations are so psychotic that they would make it into the damn mainstream news. And that person would likely be sued for a large amount of money. Not by me, by the way… For inventing this nonsense.

Streamer says: Age of those involved was manipulated to create a scandal
The Discord message from lavlunee brands HasanAbi as a liar and accuses her of having deliberately altered the numbers to provoke a reaction. Had she stated the true age, the streamer claims, people would hardly have been interested in the “problematic age difference”.
According to HasanAbi, this means that lavlunee has put herself in a legally problematic area.
But she knew that, so she had to distort [the numbers] to make it illegal. Which is a crime. […] What she basically says is that I committed a crime. And that’s not just a complete fabrication; she knows what the truth is and has decided to manipulate it a bit so that she can defame me.

HasanAbi also states that the allegations are so baseless that not even his worst critics have taken advantage of them: The controversial political YouTuber Destiny, with whom HasanAbi fell out in 2019, has also commented on the allegations.
Who is Destiny? The name refers to YouTuber Steven Kenneth Bonnell II, a political commentator from the USA. He is considered a controversial figure and was permanently banned from Twitch in March 2022. On YouTube, he has 583,000 subscribers who follow his political talks.
Destiny is said to have previously spoken out against making the allegations against HasanAbi public, although there has been a feud between Destiny and HasanAbi for some time.
The woman from whom the allegations came retracts, says: HasanAbi did nothing illegal
What does lavlunee say about the allegations? lavlunee posted a statement on her Patreon account a few hours before her allegations against HasanAbi became public. In it, she mainly addresses her accusations against Destiny.
lavlunee explained that as a result of her allegations against Destiny, she received “hundreds of thousands” of messages in which she was manipulated or insulted.
From this experience, lavlunee now wants to draw the consequences and withdraw from parts of the public eye. She plans to stop streaming on Twitch indefinitely and also wants to say goodbye to Twitter.
However, she will keep her accounts on YouTube and Patreon to continue developing her own content (via patreon).
She denies her allegations against HasanAbi and states that he did nothing illegal or immoral:
Hasan Piker slept with my very young girlfriend when he was not that young. It was legal. But he has publicly called out men who have done much less.

Destiny had previously released a secret call between several major streamers in September, during which HasanAbi was discussed. It was indicated that damaging information about some well-known streamers exists, but the release has been withheld.
