A strategy game set in World War II will be released on Steam next week. After 15 years, the sequel to the popular title Men of War is finally here.
What game are we talking about? Men of War II is the sequel to a popular strategy game from 2009. The first game is a true classic, especially for fans of the genre, and has received 89% positive reviews on Steam to this day.
Now, on May 15, 2024, after 15 years, the sequel will be released on Steam, sending you back into the battles of World War II:
What can you expect? Just like in the first part, players in Men of War II will be sent into World War II and, according to the official Steam page, promise a variety of units to command, each with different specializations.
Men of War II is also expected to be historically accurate and provide more advanced enemy AI. The graphics have also changed from its predecessor and have been modernized for the entire game. Nonetheless, fans of the first game can expect a similar gaming experience as they did 15 years ago.
In single-player mode, you can experience real events from World War II in the story campaigns, which promise to stay very true to the actual situations. In total, there will be three story campaigns.
Decide the course of real operations that actually took place
Two additional campaigns will also deal with real operations, but here you will have more freedom in your decisions and can individually influence the course of the operation.
In addition to these solo modes, Men of War II also offers various multiplayer modes. In battles ranging from 1v1 to 5v5, you can compete against other players. In cooperative mode, you can work together as teammates. In custom lobbies, you can customize a variety of options and experience all single-player content with up to 4 other players.
